Mask Guidelines at MIT

Dear Members and Friends of MIT,

Thank you for your support of our tennis facility over the past year. As you may be aware, the Centers for Disease Control and the State of Vermont have made some changes to mask-wearing guidelines. However, there are still a large number of people (particularly children) who use MIT's facilities and who are not fully vaccinated. Please be aware that the guidelines at MIT are as follows:

  • Regardless of your vaccination status, masks should still be worn by everyone entering the building, in the main lobby, and in common areas such as locker rooms.

  • On the court, if you are fully vaccinated, mask wearing is at the discretion of those playing together on the same court.

  • Those who are not fully vaccinated, including junior players, should still expect to wear masks while playing tennis.

We re-evaluate our COVID policies often and will continue to adjust them as the status of our membership’s safety changes. Thank you for your continued attentiveness and cooperation. With your help, we've been able to keep MIT a safe place for us all to enjoy. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
