We have attached an intent form in pdf and doc to this email,
which is due back to us by Nov. 20th. The Year End ratings will be
coming out at the end of Nov/ early December. We understand that you
may need to adjust your team intent form once this happens. Please be
in touch with us if necessary.
Also, we will hold our annual captain's meeting at the Montpelier High
School on Sunday, December 4th from 1 - 3pm.
We will be reviewing essential information, highlighting changes in
league tennis for the future and of course having our annual raffle
drawing - including box seats to the US OPEN thanks to USTA VERMONT,
Diane Meyer, President.
If you can not make it, please send a representative from your team so
that you don't miss out on league information. We will also be
distributing remaining gifts to 2011 captains and teams who placed
first in their flight! See you then!!! - Donna & Carol

Fees & Timeline for 2012 League Tennis
We've included level coordinator information for the various
leagues on Attachment A. Please forward this email to anyone you
know that may be interested in forming a team.
We would like to highlight a few items:
1. Team registration fee is going up to $21. USTA NE has raised
their portion by $2. They have not increased this for the last 8
years.
2. We are maintaining the match fee at $10 per player this year.
(And the previously established recommendation of $18 per
court when neither team is a home team.)
3. The VT Local League Committee has moved the Mixed Doubles
League to a new timeline. This league will be played from
Dec. 5th, 2011 through April 15th, 2012. This will enable
players to start and finish the season with their year end
ratings (which will be coming out in early December).
4. Regarding the Tri-Level League: we understand that in areas
that have less participation it may be difficult to play in this
league and have to travel great distances. So, in these areas we
are open to creating a tournament format. Please contact the
Tri-Level Coordinator if you have questions or want to learn more
about this tennis opportunity: Dawn Dugan, bdduganvt@comcast.net.
